Yesterday evening, I had the amazing opportunity to interview Jamie Blanco on my podcast, Stories That Inspire Us / The Author Series. Jamie is the Author of her book, along with her Dad, Jimmy Blanco, Hope for the Hopeless / How One Man Fought the World’s Deadliest Brain Tumor on his Terms and Won.
Jamie was just nine-years-old when her father Jimmy got sick. Her Dad, Jimmy Blanco, was one of the longest living survivors of the world’s deadliest brain cancer and he defied the odds without traditional medicine. In 1995, he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme grade IV and given less than four months to live. Given no hope of survival, Jimmy rejected chemotherapy and radiation and the doctor's death sentence for him. He self-treated with natural medicine, radically altered his diet, practiced visualization and other mental focus techniques, and had a healthy faith in God.
